Blurb: BOOK 2 of The Devlin Files: A privately-owned rogue agency unhindered by red tape and jurisdiction.

When an explosion rocks the Devlin Group, two agents must risk everything to save them all.

Tony Casavetti emerges from an undercover assignment only to be summoned to NYC by Charlotte, the Devlin Group’s executive administrator. But when he arrives, he finds out she may be ruthlessly efficient, but his assumption about her being matronly was dead wrong.

Charlotte Rhames has it all—looks, wealth, and the respect she craved. But an attack on the Devlin Group throws her back into the pit of sex, money, and murder she’d crawled out of.

With Tony’s life at stake, how far is she willing to fall?

Okay, so it actually released last night for those of us who were virtuous yesterday and cleared our calendars so we were free to stalk <a href=”;My Bookstore and More until they coughed up the goods.

And there are fewer things more fun in life than reading an author’s book while you have them trapped on IM, laughing at the funny stuff and calling them names when they do mean things to their characters. I had that pleasure last night, and while I’m sure Ms. Stacey didn’t enjoy it as much as I did, I only have one, er, maybe two things to say: What a great book by an excellent writer. It was fun, fast, and hard-hitting. It was also worth the wait.

Speaking of wait, remember to whine for Gallagher’s story. I know I will be.
